Are you a senior .NET Android developer who takes true ownership of building high-quality, well-tested software? π§ We're looking for a Senior .NET for Android Developer to design and build robust solutions within the Transport Execution Management domain, working closely with the solution designer and business stakeholders to translate ideas into effective, reliable applications! π
π About the Role
You will work closely with the solution designer and business stakeholders to translate ideas into effective, reliable applications, gaining a deep understanding of the business context along the way.
β Requirements
πΉ 5+ years of .NET development experience
πΉ 3+ years of .NET for Android / Xamarin.Android experience (cross-platform UI frameworks like Xamarin.Forms or .NET MAUI do not count) π΅
πΉ Demonstrable hands-on experience with MvvmCross
πΉ Experienced in unit testing code
πΉ Demonstrable experience with Clean Code, Clean Architecture & SOLID principles
πΉ CI/CD β experience implementing and managing pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps βοΈ
π Key Competencies
πΈ .NET development β strong mastery of the .NET ecosystem, including language features, LINQ, async/await, security practices, data structures & design patterns
πΈ Android development β understands Android UI layouts, components, responsive/adaptive design & native platform integration
πΈ Android internals β understands activity/fragment lifecycle, services, background work, push notifications, WorkManager & native SDK behavior π
πΈ MvvmCross β understands navigation, view model lifecycle, bindings, dependency injection & platform-specific integration
πΈ Code quality & craftsmanship β writes clean, maintainable, SOLID code following proven engineering practices
πΈ Unit testing & test quality β creates meaningful, maintainable, automated unit tests β
πΈ CI/CD & DevOps practices β sets up robust Azure DevOps pipelines for building, testing & releasing software
πΈ API integration & offline/online synchronization β integrates reliably with backend APIs, designs apps that handle offline usage, local persistence, synchronization, conflict handling & recovery
πΈ Git & version control β applies branching strategies, collaborates efficiently using Git
πΈ Collaboration & communication β explains technical choices clearly
