Are you a Senior Business Analyst who bridges business strategy with deep data architecture expertise? π We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Data Expert to analyze, design, and lead the migration from a legacy Data Warehouse to a modern Lakehouse platform! βοΈ
π Main Responsibilities
π Analyze the current Data Warehouse & Data Hub from business and data perspectives (processes, information flows, "As-Is" architecture)
π Define the future ("To-Be") enterprise data model and target Data Warehouse/Lakehouse architecture
π Design dimensional models (Kimball) and/or Corporate Information Factory (Inmon) β star schemas, conformed dimensions, data marts
π Define Lakehouse architecture in Microsoft Fabric β Bronze, Silver, Gold layers on Delta Lake π₯π₯π₯
π Design the transition strategy & migration roadmap to the future platform
π Identify opportunities for simplification, harmonization & standardization of data structures/services
π Support definition of future service offering, governance model & cost model for the Data Hub
π Produce business, functional & data architecture documentation π
π Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and knowledge transfer activities
β Required Profile
Business Analysis
πΉ 6+ years as a Business Analyst on enterprise data or information management projects
πΉ Solid experience in business process analysis and requirements engineering
πΉ Experience facilitating workshops with business & technical stakeholders
Data Architecture & Modeling
πΉ 7+ years in enterprise data architecture, data modeling & data warehouse design
πΉ Strong knowledge of Kimball (dimensional modeling) and Inmon (CIF) methodologies
πΉ Experience in conceptual, logical & physical modeling; data mapping/lineage; MDM & metadata
Modern Data Platforms
πΉ Experience designing Lakehouse architectures, ideally Microsoft Fabric & Delta Lake (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
πΉ Experience with ELT/ETL patterns and migration from traditional data warehouses to cloud platforms βοΈ
Transformation & Governance
πΉ Experience in legacy platform analysis, migration roadmaps, gap analysis, platform consolidation
πΉ Experience defining future operating models, service catalogs & business cases
π Certifications (Desirable)
β¨ CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent
β¨ TOGAF Foundation or Certified
β¨ DAMA CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
